Usage of ChatGPT and other AI has boomed in 2023. After initially flunking the CPA exam, ChatGPT later passed the exam, in late May. It has also passed the bar exam. Will AI put tax and accounting pros out of business? Maybe, maybe not, but we do need to be aware of what it is, how it’s used, and the opportunities and threats we face from it.
Why should you attend :
ChatGPT and other AI is here to stay. Millions of people already use it. Rather than panicking about it putting us out of business, tax and accounting pros should learn about it and discover ways to incorporate it into our business and use it to our benefit. It’s also important to know how the IRS is using AI, as they are already putting it to use in audits of the employee retention credit.
