Happy 56th Birthday Fair Housing -What's Hot and What's Not! 2024

Congratulations to the Fair Housing Act on its 56th anniversary! Before we extinguish the candles and slice the cake, let us contemplate the impact of the always evolving compliance standards and enforcement modifications on our daily schedules.

However, certain elements remain constant. Therefore, this session will examine both traditional and contemporary aspects of compliance for ten specific subjects. It will provide recommendations for policies, procedures, and practices aimed at ensuring compliance and reducing the likelihood of becoming the target of a fair housing complaint or lawsuit.

  • Facilitate adherence to the broadened interpretation of sex for the purpose of ensuring equitable housing.
  • Comprehend the use of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) in market-rate communities
